Insurance Treatment Recovery - What if You Don't Have Any For A Rehab?

Insurance Treatment Recovery - What if You Don't Have Any For A Rehab?

I Don't Have
Rehab Insurance! What Do I Do?

What About Loans ? What Do I Do if I Can't Get Any Loans?

Do Not Worry Because There are Rehabs That Accept People With NO INSURANCE ! - for your Treatment!

rehab treatment centers

Hello, David L. Here (Recovery in Alcohol/Drugs)

If you are serious about going to a Rehab for Treatment and have absolutely no Insurance, Like myself, You can still get into a Rehab, you can still get into one with no insurance, zero loans, and horrible credit! (which I have)

People, who don't have health Insurance and do not have money to finance a drug rehab treatment program, may sometimes feel helpless. If you're in need of drug rehab treatment and call up a lot of the drug rehab centers, you'll find that many of them will not be interested in providing help unless you do have health insurance or money.

I know what you are thinking: (it sucks and it's not fair)
but don't worry, there are free drug rehab programs that can help you, but they're not that easy to locate. ( It took me some time to find one in my area, but I did find one that accepted me with no Insurance!)

And for them accepting me with zero Insurance and bad credit for treatment I desperately needed, I was so grateful!! :)
A lot individuals who are alcoholics or addicts are not knowledgeable that the Salvation Army has about two hundred drug rehab treatment programs.

They run as non-profit-making charitable organization which assist the community. You have to explore and search for nearest   Salvation Army in your local region.  Just trust me on this! Because I was not only unemployed but I also had NO Insurance but I did a little research and found that there are Rehab places kind of close and some further away that will take you!

Don't "Sweat" not having Insurance!!!

A couple of the necessities of getting into these Rehab programs is just to be willing to get the help provided, involvement in the faith based recovery Rehab program and power to work inside the Salvation Army system while you're getting treatment.

You're, in addition to, expected to stay at the least 6 months in the recovery program. (now, I really do not like saying this but 6 months is a long time, especially if you live by yourself and need to work to pay your bills but you can leave when you feel like you have the Treatment you need) you'll be provided a place to stay, food, clothing and educational training and this will be all free to you.

Therapy includes guidance on an personal foundation, bible study involvement and group therapy sittings. When you provide your services to the system, it neutralizes the price that will go towards the treatment costs. Working helps you to be accountable, conditioned, creditworthy, vocational skills and employment preparation.

Drug addicts that enter free drug rehab treatment take in college and high school courses of study. This aids the drug addicts with producing some type of normality in their lives and teaches them to convert to  normal citizens of society.

Individuals  who abuse drugs never think in advance that they'll require insurance to fix their problem. As a matter of fact, this is the furthermost thing from their judgements. Nonetheless, the truth is that to get the right treatment from a private rehab center, you'll need to have good insurance or 1000s of dollars every month.

This sounds crazy, but many Rehab Treatment centers cost close to 1,000 a day! I personally checked out this one Rehab called "Passages in Malibu" and for a 30 day stay it would have cost me close to 100,000 dollars!  Sounds insane, yes? These Rehabs are usually for the celebrities or rich and famous.
These are the Rehabs you do not want to call.

It will cost up to $20,000 each month to stay at a rehab center that offers private facility. Not many of us have the kind of savings that can finance treatment in these facilities. Some people may not even qualify to get government subsidized help.

There are different options to consider for drug rehabilitation. Nonetheless, some of it depends on if you are eligible for a government program or not. Throughout the United States, there are over 2,000 programs available for those who would like to get recovery from drug abuse.

For programs that are non-profit-making and charitable in nature, finances don't play any part in whether you get help or not. Your overall condition and treatment takes priority over every thing else.
Recovery homes are optional for those who want free drug rehab treatment.

Although, this isn't entirely free, it allows for a supportive environment among its occupants. Residents pay a nominal cost that's shared amongst each other. The advantage of entering a recovery house is the friendships that are formed, employment training possibilities and gainful employment.

So, in a nutshell, The very first thing I would recommend to do if you have zero insurance but are really interested in getting into a Rehab for Treatment, I would do a "Google" search with the words: ... "Rehabs Treatment Facilities"... (in your area)    or  .... " I don't have insurance .."

Good Luck and I am Sure With a Little Research, You WILL FIND A FREE REHAB!!!

Are You Addicted to Nicotine ? - Both Smokers and Tobacco Chewers

Are You Addicted to Nicotine ? -  Both Smokers and Tobacco Chewers

how to quit smoking

David L. here (Recovering Alcoholic/Addict)

Hundreds and hundreds of Smokers including Chewing Tobacco users die every day of the year! This should tell you something about how incredibly Nicotine  is! Nicotine is one of the most addicted and abused drugs of today!

Many of the smokers or Chewing Tobacco users do not even realize this, but it is true. I am a Chewing tobacco user and am slowly cutting down my amounts of usage everyday until i am 100% free of Nicotine. I happen to be using both the Nicotine Patch, Nicotine Gum, and the Nicotine lozenges.

They really work! I am hoping to be 100% Nicotine free by the end of March. ( I have been Chewing Tobacco now for almost 28 years) So, with that being said, I do not want to get mouth cancer or any other disease that comes along with Nicotine using.

If you are a Smoker or Chewing Tobacco User, or even both, I highly suggest you read this article for some facts about what Nicotine is and how it affects your body to the point of complete addiction.

Regrettably, Cigarette Smoking nonetheless tops the list as the most preventable killer in the U.S.A. Nowadays, reporting for 438,000 deaths each year. Estimations from the Centers for Disease Control dating back to the year 2007 tell us that twenty. eight % of the United States of America. adult population, or forty-five. three million individuals, presently smoke cigarettes.

Nicotine is Highly Addictive

The inhaled nicotine tobacco smoke goes from the lungs, into the bloodstream and up to the tobacco users brain within seven to ten seconds.

(This goes for both Smokers and Chewers )

when the nicotine reaches this stage, nicotine triggers off a number of chemical reactions that produce irregular sensations of pleasance for the smoker, but these pleasures are short-lived, lessening within minutes.

As the nicotine level deteriorates in the blood, smokers feel highly strung and disturbed --

This is the beginning of Nicotine Withdrawal.

(This goes for both Smokers and Chewers ) therefore, in order to alleviate the uncomfortableness, smokers light up another cigarette and the Chewing Tobacco users put more "Chew" into their mouths usually under their lip...and then another..and another.

And then it goes -- the vicious circle of nicotine addiction. One cigarette or Chew is never enough, a fact that every smoker or Chewer recognizes all too well.

In order to give up smoking or chewing with success for the long-run, it helps oneself to realize the actual nature of nicotine addiction and what it demands to break free of it.

In fact, smokers and Chewers are often surprised to learn that they're addicted to a substance. Several of us believed that smoking and chewing were just horrible habits; something we could lay off easily when we determined it was the wright time to do so.

Let's take a look at how nicotine impacts brain chemistry and begin the educational procedure that will help us fight this addiction to the end, once and for all.

Nicotine and Adrenalin

When a person breathes in cigarette smoke, the nicotine in the smoke is rapidly assimilated into the blood and starts affecting the brain within ten seconds. With Chewing Tobacco it may take one full minute. The result is the release of Adrenalin, the "fight or flight" hormone.

Physically, adrenaline increases an individual's pulse rate, blood pressure level and restrains blood periods of "Flow" to the cardiac muscle.

Once this happens, the smoker not the Chewer in this situation,  undergoes speedy,  taking a deep breath and the feeling of a racing heartbeat. Adrenaline also teaches the body to ditch extra glucose into the bloodstream.

Nicotine and Insulin

Nicotine also suppresses the discharge of insulin from the pancreas, a hormone that's responsible for removing excess sugars from an individual's blood.

This leaves the smoker in a somewhat hyperglycemic circumstance, signifying that he or she has more sugar in their blood than is normal.

High blood glucose (Sugar)  plays the part of an appetite suppressant, which might be why smokers and chewers believe that  their cigarettes or chewing tobacco reduce and dilute their own hunger.

Nicotine and Dopamine

Nicotine activates the same reward nerve pathways in the brain that other drugs of abuse such as cocaine or amphetamines do, although to a lesser stage.

Research has established that nicotine increases the level of dopamine in the brain, a neurotransmitter that's responsible for feelings of delight and well being.

The intense effects of nicotine wear away within minutes, so individuals must go along with drugging themselves oftentimes throughout the day to uphold the enjoyable effects of nicotine and to keep away from their withdrawal symptoms.

The Chemicals in Cigarettes

In addition to nicotine, cigarette smoke is composed of more than 4000 toxic chemicals and tar ( way too many to mention here ) but if you are curious, then go to the link below which shows all 4000:

But, for chewing tobacco, here are the harmful chemicals that are eventually interjected into your body:

- Cadmium: used in car batteries
- Formaldehyde: embalming fluid
- Lead: a poison
- Nicotine: an addictive drug
- N-Nitrosamines: cancer-causing chemical
- Polonium 210: nuclear waste
- Acetaldehyde: irritant Hydrazine: toxic chemical
- Benzopyrene: cancer-causing chemical
- Uranium 235: used in nuclear weapons
- Sodium: salt, can cause high blood pressure
- Sugar: can cause cavities
 - Fiberglass and Sand: abrasives

( Wow ! Allot of these harmful additives seem dangerous to me! It just makes me want to quit even more when I read what's inside Chewing Tobacco. )

The tar in a cigarette, which can be as much as twenty-two milligrams in a high-tar cigarette to seven milligrams in a low-tar cigarette, exposes smokers to an increased risk of lung cancer, emphysema, and bronchial disorders.

The carbon monoxide in cigarette smoke increases the chance of cardiovascular diseases. The Environmental Protection Agency has concluded that secondhand smoke causes lung cancer in adults and greatly increases the risk of respiratory illnesses in children and sudden infant death.

It Can Be Done!!!

Statistics show that only a small percentage (just about seven%) of people who try to quit smoking without support are still smoke-free a year later.

Nevertheless, those with a quit program in place that includes education about nicotine addiction and a solid support group, do much better.

Again, I am using the Nicotine Patch and gum plus nicotine lozenges .  It really makes a difference for me. All 3 can be purchased over the counter in places like Walmart, target and CVS/Wallgreens type of stores.

Folks, Quit !  Period !  Do you really want to die from lung cancer? Do you really want to get mouth cancer from Chewing Tobacco?

I am sure your answers are "Hell No".... So, get rid of Nicotine in your body. I would recommend getting the patch and either nicotine gum or lozenges.

Are You Addicted To Using The Internet ?

Are You Addicted To Using The Internet ?

Hello All !  David L. Here (Recovering Alcoholic/Addict)

Just like all other Addictions out there, You CAN actually become an INTERNET JUNKIE. As a matter of fact, a few years ago, I was slowly leaning towards Internet addiction myself. I would spend so many hours online building Websites, searching, chatting, and especially Using Facebook and YouTube.

Below is not only a brief definition to what Internet Addiction is but also a self-questionare and some tips for treatment!

Addiction to Technology:

Cyber addiction is perhaps the most complex societal contagion America is facing today because the nature of the Internet is all encompassing.  There is email, texting, Twitter, Facebook, You Tube, Skype, Google, Yahoo, iTunes, and innumerable chat rooms.

So What is Internet addiction?

Internet addiction is identified as an impulse control disorder, which doesn't call for use of any intoxicant drug and is very like a Gambling Addiction.  Some Internet users may develop an emotional bond to on-line friends and activities they create on their computers.

Internet users may enjoy aspects of the Internet that allow them to meet, socialize, and exchange ideas through the use of chat rooms, social networking websites, or "virtual communities."   Other Internet users spend endless hrs searching for subjects of interest Online or "blogging".

Blogging is a contraction of the term "Web log", in which an individual will post comments and keep a regular account of events.  It can be looked at  journaling and the introductions are primarily textual.

Like other addictions, those suffering from Internet addiction use the virtual world of illusion to get in touch with real people through the Internet, as a replacement for real-life human connection, which they're not able to accomplish normally.

Below is a really good Questionnaire to see if you suffer from Internet Addiction. Just be honest with your answers, keep the answers to yourself because only you will know if you are really an Internet Addict !

1. How often do you find that you stay on-line longer than you meant?
2. How often do you disregard household tasks to spend more time on-line?
3. How often do you prefer the excitement of the Internet to intimacy with your mate?
4. How often do you form new relationships with fellow on-line users?
5. How often do others in your life complain to you about the amount of time you spend on-line?
6. How often do your grades or schooling assignments suffer because of the amount of time you spend on-line?
7. How often do you check your e-mail before something else that you need to do?
8. How often does your job performance or productivity suffer because of the Internet?
9. How often do you become defensive or secretive when anyone asks you what you do on-line?
10. How often do you mask disturbing thoughts about your life with soothing thoughts of the Internet?
11. How often do you find yourself anticipating when you'll go on-line again?
12. How often do you fear that life without the Internet would be boring, empty, and joyless?
13. How often do you snap, yell, or act annoyed if someone bothers you while you're on-line?
14. How often do you lose sleep due to late-night log-ins?
15. How often do you feel preoccupied with the Internet when off-line, or fantasize about being on-line?
16. How often do you find yourself saying "just a couple of more mins." when on-line?
17. How often do you try to reduce the amount of time you spend on-line and fail?
18. How often do you try to hide how long you have been on-line?
19. How often do you decide to spend more time on-line rather than going out with any friends?
20. How often do you feel down, temperamental, or anxious when you're off-line, which disappears once you're back on-line?

Above are some great questions to ask yourself if you have a problem with using the Internet! Just like all addicts, if you feel that you are and Internet "Junkie", there is help out there believe it or not. They have rehabs, clinics, in-patient and out-patient help as well.

Below are a few Tips for coping with Internet addiction:

Modify your Internet use gradually:

*To help you see problem areas, keep a log of how much you use the Internet for non-work or inessential actions.

* Are there certain hours of your daily schedule that you use the Internet more often then other days? *Are there triggers in your day that make you stay online for hrs at one time when you only planned to stay for a couple of mins?

*Set goals for when you are able to use the Internet. For instance, you could try setting a timer, scheduling use for certain hours, or making a loyal decision  to switch off  the computer, tablet, or smart phone at the same time each nighttime. Or you could reward yourself with a certain amount of online time once you have completed a homework assignment or finished the laundry, for example.

*Replace your Internet usage with healthy activities. If you're bored and lonesome, rejecting the
impulse to get back online can be very hard.

*Have a plan for other ways to fill the time, such as going to lunch with a fellow worker, taking a class, or inviting a acquaintance over.

More Tips for Dealing with Internet Addiction:

*Ask yourself, “What am I escaping from when I spend so a lot of time on the Internet?” Write down these activities and lessen your Internet time to follow up on some of them.
*Set reasonable Internet use goals and stick to them. Take frequent breaks, at least five mins each hr, and do some other activity.
*Alter your routine to break your usage patterns. If you spend evenings on the Internet, start limiting your use to mornings.

*Seek out friends and acquaintances who “could not care less” about the Internet. Take time to treasure the fact that all life isn't yet online.
*Stay in touch with the offline world. Visit news stands, book and music stores, and participate in entertainment such as museums, music, and live theater. Novels and poetry readings are hard to experience online.
*Treat the Internet as a tool. Stay focused on the fact that the Internet is a means to an end. Plan your strategy— whether you are looking for info or amusement —with the end in mind and you will save useful time.

Marijuana Addicts - There is Help

Marijuana Addicts - There is Help

Hello, David L. here (Recovering Alcoholic/Addict)

Many of us think that Marijuana is ok to use. Many think it should be legalized. And many think that since Marijuana comes from the earth starting out as a seed, that it is not harmful to your body or mind.

Marijuana

I, David L. (Recovering Alcoholic/Addict) however came to believe that smoking pot for a long time is not only addictive but will eventually make you or turn you into a zombie.

Many people who smoke Marijuana still believe that there is nothing wrong with smoking pot. Again, in my own personal opinion, not only does marijuana smother your lungs (it has been said that smoking one joint of Marijuana is almost the same as smoking two packs of cigarettes!)

I really believe you can become addicted to Marijuana at one time in life especially if you smoke it everyday.

I personally know people who cant even function wright unless they have there daily smoke or puff of a joint! I don't know about you but that sounds like addictive behavior.

Below is some really good info on Marijuana abuse and addiction and possible ways to help the Cannabis addict.

 What is a Marijuana Addict?

A marijuana addict's life story is manipulated by marijuana. Most people who smoke Marijuana falls back on the  involvement altogether, their aspirations eventually disintegrate .

Marijuana (also known as Cannabis ) dependence is a continuous tense sickness frequently extending their own drug use to become addicted to other drugs, including alcohol.

The lives, thinking and desires of marijuana addicts center around marijuana--scoring it, dealing it and finding ways to stay high.

Addiction is a progressive, long-term continuing problem. When an addict tries to cease using and conks out since living without the drug is just overly too difficult, that's an  addiction.

When an addict is positive that he or she can't live without marijuana, the dependence converts to a compulsion. When the addict uses even though he or she assured themselves they would not, this eventually turns out to become an obsession.

It's the nature of dependency that addicts do not conceive that they're ill. Marijuana addicts, particularly, lean to think that they must be “all right” because there are a great deal of drugs which are more high-risk, and additional folks whose lives are much more defective off as a consequence of their using. That's called self-denial.

We have discovered that addiction is a physical, mental and spiritual disease. The physical panorama is the obsession– the inability to cease when we have began.

The mental aspect is the compulsion, or the overwhelming desire to use, even when we're destructing our own lives and the lives of of which are our loved ones and family. The spiritual prospect of the disease is our absolute self-centeredness.

Propositions to Family Members & Friends of Marijuana Addicts

We addicts in recovery have ascertained, through the 12 Steps, that we're from each one responsible for ourselves and our processes.

If a dearest close loved one decides to help and aid a diversion to a particular crisi for the pot smoker addict, they detract the addict's chance to work it out, or go into the wrong direction all together.

This will make it more grueling for the addict to comprehend the trouble and set about seeking a solution if they even can.

As the addict comes near their "Rock Bottom" ( which is known as your worst case scenario ) and the way they live including the progression of their disease, many times the family members and friends have a leaning towards the pot smoker addict, providing them to defer the elemental recoils of their using.

Clearly, beloveds seek to alleviate the agony the addict might be experiencing because of commitment, love, caring, and a common sense of obligation.

Family and friends might contribute money (which likely endures the marijuana addict into buying more cannabis), buy food, pay up on rent and bills, bail bond them out of jail, and so forth. By attempting to salvage the addict from him or herself, you're doing both yourself and the addict a ill service.

Addicts frequently try to falsify and or plain out lie to their loved ones through the use of guilt feelings, fearfulness, and angriness.

This is a very most common maneuver applied (both consciously and unconsciously) by the addict to acquire what he or she wants by taking advantage of the emotions of those tightest to him or her.

When the Addict starts Recovery, We advise You TRY:

•Supporting the addict by altering your mental attitude and draw close to the trouble.

•Centering on YOURSELF and your own life. The recently clean addict will be doing the same.  Living with an addict touches on everybody involved.

•Detaching yourself from the addict's demeanor. Separation isn't harsh. Detachment facilitates viewing states of affairs truthfully and objectively, therefore arriving at the most well-informed conclusions as imaginable.

•Being supportive. There possibly might be a significant quantity of time while both you and the addict adapt to a new way of living. Attempt to foster harmoniousness and equilibrate in that new life-style.

When the Addict starts out with their Recovery, We advise That You avert

•Attempting to pacify or patronize the addict.

•Checking out here and there to see if the addict is stoned or in self-possession of drugs or alcoholic beverages. However, attempt to not allow for the addict to take advantage of you or betray you. (This can be a tough one to get by on!)

•Lecturing, pecking or faulting the addict about former use or newfound soberness.

•Establishing threats, particularly if you're not set to carry them out.

Ward off False anticipations and look for agreement of understanding.

Once the addict breaks off using and begins the recovery operation, do not anticipate that their flaws and all the inconveniences of your shared lives will go away. You may discover, at the start, precisely the opposite.

Drug use was a managing mechanism for the addict. That coping mechanism will be “in the raw” awhile, particularly when detoxing. Do not anticipate that a striking confident personality change will instantly come about.

Once a marijuana addict starts attending meetings, there might be disturbance and disputes with your normal living agenda, procedures, and family responsibilities. This is where your compassionateness, patience, and encouragement will be addressed .

The time spent in the past by the addict in the pursuit of getting and remaining high may now be spent attending meetings, learning recovery literature, talking on the telephone with additional MA members, writing, contemplating, and praying.

These actions are of predominant importance to the recently clean addict and your reinforcement will be of eminent measure.

You might be surprised to discover that the addict at present takes a firm stand on attending to certain activities and obligations you found obligated to attend yourself in the yesteryear.

This isn't a time to condemn past doings, but an chance to rehearse entrust and benefaction. The consequence will make up the reciprocal payoff of sustaining a new and healthy human relationship.

We as humans can only be responsible for ourselves. This goes for both the addict and the person who cares. Choose every day, one at one time. Be fearless and pleased. Attempt to adapt yourself to what is, now. Beef up your own intellect and body, exercise your own psyche.

Support For You

Marijuana addiction in your kids, partner, or other beloveds is hard for you to endure with in healthy methods. You require accompaniment likewise. A few choices are twelve Step and support groups for friends and family, church service groups, and therapy.

These resources can instruct you how to live your life more full, no matter what your beloveds are doing. You might have the chance to talk about the unique problem of living with a beloved ones addiction.

It's significant to recollect that addiction is a disease which greatly affects the addict and those who love the addict.

What is Marijuana Anonymous?

Marijuana Anonymous is a companionship of men and women who partake in sharing their experience, durability, and desire with one another that they might figure out their most common troubles and assist other people with the same addiction to recover from Cannabis Addiction.

The only necessity for membership is wanting  to stop using marijuana. There are no dues or fees for membership. Marijuana Anonymous is self-supporting through members' contributions.

Marijuana Anonymous isn't associated with any religious or secular institution or organization and has no opinion on any outside controversies or causes.

The primary purpose of its members is to stay free of marijuana and to help the addict who still suffers achieve the same freedom. This is done by practicing the suggested 12 Steps of recovery and by being guided by the 12 Traditions.

In the end, hope for recovery lies in the addict's power to acknowledge that they have a problem and that they require assistance. This is what we call a “bottom” or “moment of clarity.” The addict must have a true desire to stop using and the willingness to admit that the problem can't be met alone.

That's why Marijuana Anonymous exists. We're marijuana addicts ourselves and this is our message: Any addict can stop using, lose the compulsion and want to do so, and detect an endlessly more beneficial way of life by adopting the spiritual principles incorporated in the 12 Steps, one day at a time.

The Steps of Marijuana Anonymous

1.We admitted we were powerless over marijuana, that our lives had become unmanageable.

2.Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

3.Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood God

4.Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.

5.Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

6.Were entirely ready to have God remove these defects of character.

7.Humbly asked God to remove our shortcomings.

8.Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.

9.Made direct amends wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

10.Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.

11.Sought though prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, as we understood God, praying only for knowledge of God's will for us and the power to carry that out.

My Addiction Poem By David L.

My Addiction Poem By David L.

poem about recovery

Drinking and Drugging, was my lifes new high
I never thought so soon, that I would shed a tear and cry

The higher I got, the better I would feel
These moments of Drunkenness, were stronger than steel

The people I hung out with, to drink and to drug
It made me into, what you'd call a thug

I would steal, and beg, just to get high
My money was gone as soon as I got by

This never ending story, this story of me
I never understood how horrible this can be

I soon realized, that the high i sought for
Became my Additicion , that led my life from the core

These friends I called friends, were never there for me
There only concern, was to get high as can be

I needed the help, and I knew it was there
The help that I needed, the help that would care

For the many moments of using, I soon found the truth
I was drinking my parents, nasty vermouth

My parents did notice, the bottles were filled less
I felt the urge, that I needed to confess

Whether drugs or alcohol, whatever it was
I had to do something, to stop this cause

I went to my first meeting, of alcoholics anonymous
When the meeting was over, it couldn't have been more obvious

That my using, my addiction had brought me to an end
I knew it were meetings ,that I needed to attend

Even though I am sober, I must not forget
It would be worse and more horrible, than our national debt

The rehabs and hospitals, where I been so many times
The horrible things I did, would be considered crimes

I wake up everyday, feeling clean as I can be
No more headaches, and nausea, and the feeling of being free

Of alcohol and drugs, When I once used
My family my friends, whom all I've abused

I will always be an Addict, I'll always know that
If I don't go to the meetings, I will just fall flat

In a hospital or homeless, a situation where iv 'e been
I feel if I use, I'll be creating a sin

Waking up feeling sober, and clean as I can see
Shows me the way to a new life, the one that's for me

Ice or Crystal Meth - What's the Difference?

Ice or Crystal Meth - What's the Difference?

Hello all here reading this article from David L. (Recovering Alcoholic/Addict)
I have to tell you that I have never used Meth once. I did almost try it at a party in Colorado where i was living at the time, and I was completely drunk off my ass!

Addicted to Meth

I thank my higher power for not allowing me to use Meth that evening because who knows what would have happened. I have a severe addictional personality and I can honestly almost 100% say that if i were to use that Meth that night, I would probably be hooked like the many out there.

I have researched numerous posts and articles to give you this article below. From what i have seen and heard not only by word of mouth but in the 5 rehabs i have been in that Meth is the most addicting and harmful drug of today.

I would be very scared to even try Meth if given the chance just from all the research i have done on this drug. If you are a Meth user, please read this article and I truly hope you get the help you need to get the hell away from this crap! Because from what i have heard and learned from my research, this drug was designed to completely ruin your life!

Thank You, David L. (Recovering Alcoholic/Addict)

The full term Ice is ill-used most generally in the Hawaiian islands. Crystal Ice is a strain of methamphetamine hydrochloride, as a matter of fact it is methamphetamine in its most perfect material  and may seem like tiny crystallized rocks.

Additional full terms for this type of methamphetamine include crystal methamphetamine and glass. This methamphetamine is recognized to be even more habit-forming than regular methamphetamine since it's more complete when ingested. Ice or crystal Meth is commonly smoked, nonetheless, it can be squashed and snorted or crushed and fixed into a fluid form and ingested intravenously.

The primary difference of opinion between “regular methamphetamine” and ice or Crystal Methamphetamine is that ice is produced in what are stated to be “super laboratories” and on a much greater scale than household prepared methamphetamine.

The procedure in which ice or crystal Meth is extracted can be very difficult to make in the average methamphetamine laboratory. About most of the times, the average, more inexpensive methamphetamine passed out on the street has been cut down numerous times to dilute it further and provide the Meth drug dealer to make numerous net profits. The "high" is nonetheless still the equal, yet it does not hold up as long nor does it feel as potent.

Since ice is more often than not cooked up in bigger laboratories that would be more promiscuous to discover here in the United States., more times than not the Methamphetamine is imported from Mexico and additional countries and bootlegged into the United States.

WHAT IS CRYSTAL Methamphetamine?
